Give to New Hope Naz

Giving is a part of our worship. Tithing and the giving of offerings are practices founded in the commands of God and represented in both the Old and New Testaments. Whether you are tithing in obedience to Malachi 3:10 or contributing over and above your tithe as an act of sacrificial generosity, your generosity will help us minister God’s hope and healing to our community and beyond.

The word "tithe" literally means "tenth" and represents the first 10% of our income that we set aside and give back to God. Since the Bible teaches that everything belongs to God, we are simply returning a portion of what he has placed under our stewardship. As we devote ourselves to the discipline of tithing, we are reminded that we are both dependent upon God and grateful to him for all of life's blessings.

Giving of ourselves

While tithing and the giving of offerings is Biblical, not all giving is financial.

We have several opportunities within the church for volunteer service (ushers, greeters, etc) and we connect with the community frequently. Billings Food Bank, the YMCA, and Eagle Cliffs School are just a few of the opportunities you might have through New Hope Naz.

More than just Billings

When Jesus commissioned his disciples before His ascension, He said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

New Hope Naz is a part of the Church of the Nazarene and we are located on the Rocky Mountain District (which encompasses both Montana and Wyoming). A portion of the contributions we receive go to support building of God's Kingdom beyond the boundaries of Billings.
